il Tenerone: remembering the past

Yesterday, I dig a bit and I found something from my past. It was an image of “il Tenerone”, a comic character played by Gianfranco D’Angelo in the ’80s in the revolutionary Italian TV show Drive-in.
Its amazing like something so close in the past it is so fast in becoming part of a culture. Drive-in was a slam against the previous TV attitude in Italy: it was showing semi-naked women, cabaret style of sequences and above all it was introducing something never seen before in TV: idiocy. Since then it was a “crescendo” of stupidity and lack of sense.
